COST TO MOVE IN


Application Fee - $50/person aged 18 and over


Deposit – Equal to one month’s rent. May increase depending on application to double deposit. Deposit is due at lease signing and the property will not be taken off the market until it is paid. Section 8 does NOT usually cover the deposit, please clarify with your case worker.


Pet Deposit – If you have pets, they may require an additional deposit. If there is an ESA/service animal, we will need a letter from the doctor stating that the animal is needed for a medical condition. It does NOT need to provide the medical condition. Pro-rated rent - Your first month of rent will be pro-rated based on the day you move in. If you move- in the 25th or after, you will owe next month’s rent as well. We usually require this at lease signing but have a little more flexibility when this is due.


Renter’s Insurance - We do require that you carry renter’s insurance to protect your belongings. It needs to be at least $100,000 in liability and the landlord added as an additionally insured (landlord information given at approval).


All funds, proof of renter’s insurance, signed lease, pet records and picture are required PRIOR to move in. Please contact the office if there are any questions!
